Lucky for me, I had the unique and unforgettable experience of visiting Rome and the Amalfi Coast with my mom, Gary, and my two sons, Nathan and Drew in 2017. Adam, Tiffany and Takara met up with us in in Positano as well, which was amazing. We ate delicious food, took a bike tour in Rome, boated in the gorgeous sea, and enjoyed swimming in the salty water, which was always mom’s favorite way to exercise since she really didn’t like to sweat. That was the trip we all noticed mom showing more serious signs of confusion than ordinary, so we relished the time we had knowing we may not get another chance to take a trip like that together. Looking back on it now brings back such sweet memories and makes me wish we could do it all over again.
